Shop Laura Mercier Caviar Stick:

I’m a firm believer in the saying “If the shoe fits, buy it in every color”. In fact, I’ve already talked about how I have like a dozen pairs of the same shoe in my Sam Edelman High Heel Review. However, I also feel the same way about makeup products. I am obsessed with the Pat McGrath Lust: Gloss (full review here), and I have at least a half dozen of the Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliners. When I find a product that’s amazing, wears well, and comes in a ton of colors, I can’t help myself. Now that the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick is launching 10 new shades, I had to explore the full collection.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Review - Blossom, Cobblestone, Fog, Rose Gold, Moonstone, Cocoa, Plum, Intense Amethyst, Rush, Beam, Vanilla, Au Natural, Caramel, Tuxedo, Amethyst, Copper, Burnished Bronze, Khaki, Intense Moonlight, Metallic Taupe, Magnetic Pink

The Laura Mercier Caviar Stick is $29 and is available at tons of retailers including Sephora, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Ulta, Belk, JC Penney, and Lauramercier.com. Usually, the Caviar Stick comes in neutral and basic shades like Rose Gold, Moonlight, Blossom, and Tuxedo. However, about a month ago, I heard they were coming out with a new launch of bright and fun colors just in time for spring and summer and I couldn’t be more excited.

The reason the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick is such a big deal is that it is a “one and done” kind of product. It is essentially a cream eyeshadow stick that is super easy to use. In fact, you can use a lighter shade like Rush all over your lid for a lovely every day glow. Or you can use a darker shade like Tuxedo or Plum and smoke it out to create an easy smokey eye or smokey liner. Of course you could always mix and match them, or even use the Caviar Stick as a base and apply traditional eyeshadow for the rest of your look. Plus, they are easy to store or even toss in your bag for travel.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Review - New Shades - New Colors - Turquoise, Indigo, Magenta, Golden, Sunbeam, Raspberry, Sunrise, Burgundy, Sienna, Pearl, Violet

You can find all of the basic and neutral shades at all of the stores I listed above. However, currently I could only find the new shades at Macys and Nordstrom. (As soon as I see them anywhere else, I will update this post.) Honestly, I’m obsessed with these new shades. I loved the originals, but oh goodness are these new additions beautiful! The shades Magenta, Turquoise, and Indigo are total standouts. Although a lot of the new shades are warmer toned, I was so excited to see some blues. (You know I love a great blue eye look.) I’m so ready for cool tones to come back in style!

Overall Rankings:

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick (basic/neutrals) – 4 – some of the shades are kind of blah, the formulas are inconsistent between the different textures (i.e. mattes are much harder to use than the shimmers), and the darker shades are hard to remove.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick (bright colors) – 4.5 – color payoff is amazing, shimmer is beautiful, colors are bold, but the darker shades are hard to remove.

What do you think? Have you ever used the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick eyeshadows? Let me know in the comments below.

XOXO,
Tiffany
