They say dogs look like their owners. I don’t kn They say dogs look like their owners. I don’t know that we look much alike since she decided to go blonde on me. But we sure do act a lot alike. (Case in point, I’m not giving her any attention while I write this, so she just ran over and hit the “I love you” button so I’d stop and give her attention.) 🤷🏻‍♀️
.
Side note... Mila turns 3 in 5 days. 😱Any suggestions of what to get the dog who has everything?

Happy #shoesday! . In this week’s episode of “ Happy #shoesday!
.
In this week’s episode of “I have this shoe in every color...” we have the @sam_edelman Hazel pump. This shoe has a super flattering pointed toe and a really great heel height. High enough to have that classic stiletto pump look, but short enough to still be comfortable for all day wear. These heels aren’t super inexpensive (they run about $150 a pair). But they’re the most comfortable mid price range heels I’ve ever worn and they come in tons of amazing colors and textures. 👠 .

Happy #shoesday 🌻 . Let’s talk about shoes. Happy #shoesday 🌻
.
Let’s talk about shoes. Omg. Shoes. Let’s get some shoes. Ok now that I’m officially showing my age, let’s get down to business. To defeat the Huns. Ok, ok, now I’m really done. But seriously. I know my shoes. I’ve worn heels for most of my life. (Fun fact - I even had high heeled tap shoes as a kid). With that being said, I’m actually more comfortable in heels than flats. So when I went searching for a super comfy pair of flats, I tried them all. (You know the brands. I’m sure you get insta ads for all of them.) But @birdies won the battle hands down. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I own and I wear them almost every day. The Heron is my favorite style because the pointed toe is super flattering. And you can’t go wrong with a classic black shoe. Plus, like the old saying says “If the shoe fits, buy it in every color!” (Which I did. You don’t have to tell me twice!) 👠

Let’s talk about stress. Stress can cause all so Let’s talk about stress. Stress can cause all sorts of problems. It can make you gain weight, lose weight, mess up your stomach, you skin, and your hair, and is over all just a really big pain in the butt. And with everything going on, our stress levels are higher than ever. With that in mind, here are some of the products that help me the most with stress management and self care. (Everything is linked in LTK or you can save this for reference.)
.
@getr3set stress supplements - I take a day one in the am and a night one before I go to sleep. These have made a huge difference in my sleep and anxiety.
.
@aquationcare bath salts and bubble bath - the white tea and juniper scent is everything. And the smell lasts for an entire bath.
.
@oliveandjune poppy and nail polish. This poppy is not a gimmick. It really works to help you paint your nails. Esp your non dominant hand. And I just ordered this gorgeous green shade.
.
@camelbak water bottles - if you know me irl you know I carry one of these around with me at all times. And of course they’re pink.
.
To me, self care has always involved reading. I love this American Royals series by @katharinemcgee. I just finished the newest book - Majesty - and it’s this months book club on the @badonpaperpodcast!
.
I’m obsessed with this ginger honey tea. I did a ton of research and went with this brand because all that’s in it is ginger and honey and sugar. Just empty a packet into hot water and you instantly get the most deliciously spicy bedtime treat.
.
If you’re like me and can’t sleep if there’s any light in the room, these sleep masks are everything. Plus they’re molded so they don’t press on your eyes which means they’re eyelash safe!
.
Last but not least, this shoulder massager is everything. It’s a little more expensive than the other finds, but it’s so worth it. Plus it’s a great way to get a massage while still being safe and socially distanced. (And would make a great Christmas present!)
.
Of course for the most perfect night ever, you can combine all of the above! Sometimes you have to put yourself first for a minute (or 30).
.

Are you struggling with maskne and/or stressed ski Are you struggling with maskne and/or stressed skin? I got you! I recently asked my dermatologist for her recommendations on how to fix these struggles. Keep reading for my picks for the best products to help you out. Even better? All of these products are marked as “Clean at Sephora”!

1. @tower28beauty SOS daily rescue spray. Why? Hypochlorous Acid. This face spray comes in a full size and a mini and will help sooth stressed skin and diminish the appearance of redness and bad bacteria.
.
2. @summerfridays Jet Lag Mask. Why? Hydration. This mask is one of my all time faves and will give your tired, stressed skin a big drink of happiness.
.
3. @drunkelephant retinol. Why? It helps with fine lines, wrinkles, and cell turnover. This is the most gentle retinol I’ve tried and doesn’t irritate my skin. Plus, with using only a pea sized amount every few days, the tube lasts a long time.
.
4. @summerfridays Vitamin C serum. Why? It helps with brightening and reduce inflammation. Plus it can help with fine lines and wrinkles too. And it smells yummy.
.
5. @supergoop sunscreen. Why? Because you should wear sunscreen every day. Have I taught you nothing?! But seriously. If you’re going to include a retinol and/or vitamin c, you absolutely need to wear sunscreen too.

“No makeup” makeup doesn’t just have to be for the summer! I’ve been using the new @laurenconradbeauty line for a few weeks now and the liquid highlighter and eyeliner are incredible.
.
The eyeliner is more of a soft black than a full black, so it’s great for keeping things a little more light and effortless. And the liquid highlighter is one of the best I’ve ever tried. The glow is so subtle and natural and not at all glittery. Together, they create a soft romantic look, no matter the season.

This week I’m starting something new. I try A LO This week I’m starting something new. I try A LOT of products and some deserve more than just a one and done review. So each week (I’m thinking Fridays?) I’m going to share some things I’m especially loving. Here are this week’s picks:
.
1. @be_hipbottle straws. I use these every day. Not only are they reusable, but the come open for easy cleaning and then “snap” back together. And that makes my paranoid, anxious, germophobe little heart happy.
.
2. @milkmakeup eyeliner pen. This eyeliner is so good it’s shocking that it’s clean, vegan, and waterproof. I was absolutely floored by this liner. And you guys know how much I love winged liner.
.
3. @lawless Make Me Blush. Another clean product that blew me away. Another launch or two and I might just be completely switched over to clean beauty. Some blushes don’t last long or wear well. But this one is gorgeous.
.
4. Sex And Vanity by @kevinkwanbooks. I loved the Crazy Rich Asians series so I picked up this one when I needed something light and fluffy to read. This book had me completely hooked by the end of the first chapter. I just had to know what happened next. Now I’m down to the last 30 pages and already looking up what else he’s written.
.
5. My Lip Balm from @innisfreeusa. Wedding Peach Tea is my favorite shade. This balm is so delicious and it’s only $10.
.
6. Last but not least, I’m loving this chic diffuser from Amazon. I keep it on my desk and love having it on while I work. I usually go with some sort of lavender combo (jasmine, eucalyptus, rosemary...) but lately I’ve added tea tree oil and lemon into the mix.
