Oh goodness. It’s looking like Mother doesn’t sleep! Not only is Pat McGrath launching the new MTHRSHP Rose Decadence palette soon (full preview here), but she’s also launching new lippies as well! In fact, I’m super excited to share all of the details of the new Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Divinyl Lip Shine.
The new PMG Divinyl Lip Shine includes six shades and are $36 each. They are available on the PMG website and at Sephora.
As always, we have to talk about packaging. It’s no surprise I’m a huge fan of this metallic rose packaging. Of course PMG products always feel so luxurious and substantial. But I love that this new tube is a bit slimmer than the traditional Lip Fetish Balm. Moreover, according to the Pat McGrath website, this new hybrid balm combines the opaque intensity of a high-shine lipstick with the shine of a gloss in the texture of a balm. Furthermore, I’m a huge fan of a light balm with a hint of tint for summer.
Here are the shades of the new Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Divinyl Lip Shine:
- Nude Venus
- Boudoir Rose
- Electric Lotus
- Love Interest
- Belle Amour
- Temptress
All in all, I can’t wait to see swatches of these shades. If they really are as “saturated” as promised, I think the shades are going to be a lot darker than you would anticipate for a balm. For example, I would have expected a caramel, rosewood, blush, and clear shades to be included. Something a little lighter on the spectrum than going straight to plum, red, and rose. But we shall see!
Update: Here are the swatches! They’re definitely more opaque and saturated than a gloss or a balm. Not only that, but look at that shine!
