Although Pat McGrath named 2020 “The Year of the Rose”, 2021 is coming up roses as well. Not only did PMG just announce her Divine Rose II Collection (which you can read all about here), but Natasha Denona is following up her mid-size rose hued Love palette with a new mini collection! This new Natasha Denona Mini Love Collection includes a mini eyeshadow palette, a highlighter and blush duo, and a lipstick.
As always, here is your Table of Contents. Of course you can read the full post all the way through, or you can jump directly to the product you want to check out by clicking the product name below.

Amorosa I Need A Nude Lipstick

Natasha Denona Mini Love Collection Overview
The new ND Mini Love collection is the perfect hybrid of Valentine’s Day and spring. To be sure, these love inspired shades are perfect for soft, romantic looks for both day and night. It is no surprise that this collection is inspired by the original midi size Love eyeshadow palette ($65) from last spring. As mentioned earlier, this collection consists of a five pan mini eyeshadow palette, a cream blush and highlighter duo, and a new shade of the classic I Need A Nude Lipstick.
Of course I’m a huge fan of the Natasha Denona Mini Palettes and a very big fan of this Barbie pink colored packaging. So it’s no surprise that these products are officially on my list. They are already available for pre-order on the Natasha Denona website and will officially launch on January 28th. They will launch at the Sephora website on January 28th and in stores on February 5.

Natasha Denona Mini Love Eyeshadow Palette
The Natasha Denona Mini Love Eyeshadow palette is $25 and contains five eyeshadow shades. One thing I love about this palette is that although it is inspired by the original Love palette, all five of these shades are new. In the past, some of the shades in the mini palettes came directly from their larger version. So I think it’s really cool that all five of these have the same vibe, but are all brand new. Plus the naming convention is super cute. From left to right, the shades read “You Are My True Love”.
It’s no secret that these mini eyeshadow palettes are one of my favorite products. Especially the Nude one. In fact, you can read my full review of the minis here. To be sure, I am excited to add this lovely mini to my collection. I think that the shade True is stunning and that the shade Are will be amazing as a transition/crease shade. Although I do have to mention that in promotional photos, the shade My (dark shade in the middle) looks very much more like a royal purple/eggplant shade. Whereas I think the swatches and palette photos make it look more of a chocolaty purple.
Natasha Denona Mini Love Eyeshadow Palette Shades (L-R)
You – Mauvey rose gold – sparkling duo-chrome
Are – Antique lilac – pressed powder creamy matte
My – Aubergine (deep eggplant) – pressed powder creamy matte
True – Icy pastel pink – metallic
Love – Warm medium pink – metallic

Natasha Denona Love Cheek Duo
The new Natasha Denona Love Cheek Duo is $42 and has a cream blush on one side and a highlighter on the other. Plus the outer packaging has this adorable heart glitter set in liquid that flows around like a snow globe. Although I’m usually not a fan of kitschy packaging and prefer more “high end” looking packaging for my products, I’m kind of loving this. It’s fun and playful without being too childish or overly cartoon-ish.
But lets talk about the product itself. First, if 2020 was the year of the cream bronzer, 2021 is the year of the cream blush. They are popping up everywhere! And I am loving this shade. It’s a perfectly poppy pink and I can’t wait to see it in person. This shade was originally in the Diamond & Blush Glow Palette in the shade Darya. However, in this palette they’re just calling it “Cream Blush – Pink Coral”.
Although I did hear some rumblings on the interwebs about people wishing the cream part had a little plastic cover over it like some of ND’s other cream products. And I do agree that it would have been super helpful to protect highlighter flecks from invading your cream blush. But, at least it’s only two products, and not a cream product in the middle of two powders. So maybe it won’t be too hard to keep clean? We’ll see.
As for the highlighter, this Glow Impact Powder has a gel-powder texture and a new shade of this iconic formula. The shade in this palette is a Pink & Golden Champagne Duo Chrome. Which sounds SO pretty. But again, I feel like this might be yet another warm toned champagne highlighter. And it sounds a lot like a less sparkly version of the new one coming from Pat McGrath Labs (you can read about that here). So it will be very interesting to see them side by side. (If you want more prestige highlighters side by side, you can check out my YouTube video comparing the Natasha Denona, Charlotte Tilbury, and Pat McGrath Labs holiday highlighters here.)

Natasha Denona Amorosa I Need A Nude Lipstick
Last but not least, the I Need A Nude Lipstick collection is getting a new member with this new shade – Amorosa ($25). Similarly to the rest of this collection, this lipstick has the stunning limited edition hot pink packaging, as compared to the white packaging of the originals. Although I love ND eyeshadows, I have yet to try the lipsticks. With that being said, I don’t have a whole lot of insight on this one. However, I really love that it looks to have a slight rose tone to it. According to the ND website, this shade is a “medium warm mauve with a neutral pink undertone”. Which I think is really funny because medium, warm, and neutral is a confusing combination. But it is pretty though.

Final Thoughts
All in all, I think this Natasha Denona Mini Love collection is absolutely stunning. To be sure, I love these smaller, more edited collections. For one thing I like that the products are less expensive than larger collections. And along the same lines, I like that I can add some “newness” to my current collection without adding a ton of wasted shades or products. As I predicted in my Pat McGrath Labs holiday collection post, know pastels for spring are “groundbreaking”, but I think it’s a trend that is coming in strong this year. Especially when we all need a little lightness and color in our lives. And I think the shades of pink in this Mini Love collection are perfect. Just like you.
XOXO,
Tiffany
