Shop the Drunk Elephant Holiday Kits:
I love Drunk Elephant products. However, I don’t love the cost. With that in mind, I always shop for gift sets. Gift sets are an incredible way to get your favorite products (and sometimes even try new ones) at a lower cost. Of course these Drunk Elephant Holiday Kits are no different. Plus, if you want to really take advantage of Drunk Elephant products, sales, and gift sets, make sure you read my post on how many uses are in every single DE product. Without further ado, let’s explore this year’s Drunk Elephant gift sets.
For 2020, Drunk Elephant has four different gift sets. Of course, each set is available at both Sephora and Drunk Elephant. Each set includes 4-5 product and a color coordinating compact mirror. To be sure, Drunk Elephant’s fun and flirty personality shines in each of these holiday kits.
First let’s start with my favorite kit – Glowy. Glowy – The Night Kit is $98 (a $146 value) and contains T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum, E-Rase™ Milki Micellar Water, Beste™ No. 9 Jelly Cleanser, Lala Retro™ Whipped Cream, F-Balm™ Electrolyte Waterfacial, and a light pink compact mirror. Now I say this is my favorite, because it’s literally my (almost) entire skincare routine in one set. To be sure, the T.L.C. Framboos serum is one of the products I recommend to everyone. And at $90 for a full size bottle, it’s not inexpensive. So getting the additional 4 mini products + mirror for $8 is pretty cool. Here is the best order in which to use these products at the end of the day: E-rase to take off your makeup, Beste to wash your face, T.L.C. Framboos to resurface your skin, Lala Retro to hydrate, and F-Balm on top to ultra hydrate.
Next up – Firmy. Firmy – The Day Kit is $88 (a $127 value) and contains C-Firma™ Day Serum, D-Bronzi™ Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops, B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum, Protini™ Polypeptide Cream, Umbra Tinte™ Physical Daily Defense SPF 30, and a hot pink compact mirror. Ultimately, this kit is perfect for your every day morning skincare routine. Not only does it include your anti aging products that provide SPF protection, firming, and hydration, but it also includes the D-Bronzi sunshine drops to give you a great glow. However, know these are extremely potent and are made to be mixed with a moisturizer. Whatever you do, don’t just rub it all over your face without mixing it with moisturizer first. Learn from my mistakes. Here is the best order in which to use these products: B-Hydra, C-Firma, mix a drop or two of D-Bronzi with Protini, and top it all off with Umbra Tinte.
After that we have Dewy. Dewy – The Polypeptide Kit is $75 (a $108 value) and contains A-Passioni™ Retinol Cream, B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum, Slaai™ Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser, Bamboo Booster™, and an orange compact mirror. To be sure, this is a great anti-aging set. In fact, A-Passioni retinol is one of the best retinols I’ve ever tried. I’ve never had any sensitivity or adverse reactions. And you only need a little bit at a time, so one tube lasts a while. Here is the best order to apply these products at night: cleanse with Slaai mixed with Bamboo Booster, B-Hydra for an extra layer of hydration, A-Passioni, and then Protini to lock in all of that skincare goodness.
Last but not least, Softy. Softy – The Baby Kit is $88 (a $144 value) and contains T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial™, Beste™ No. 9 Jelly Cleanser, Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, F-Balm™ Electrolyte Waterfacial, and a yellow compact mirror. Although it’s called “The Baby Kit”, it’s not for babies! But it might make your skin soft like one. My favorite product in this kit is the Marula Oil. However, if you’re going to include facial oils in your skincare routine, just know they are the LAST step. (If you want to know more about how to layer your skincare products, check out this post.) Here is the correct order to use these products: cleanse with Beste, use T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial per the instructions, hydrate with F-Balm, and top things off with Marula Oil.
Overall, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these kits. Of course they each do very different things. So just find the one that is most in line with what you’re looking for. If the kit you choose has an item or two you know you won’t use, gift it to a friend. After all, sharing is caring!
