Shop the Aether Beauty Crystal Charged Cheek Palette:
As I’ve gotten more into clean beauty, I’ve been very intrigued by the brand Aether Beauty. Although they don’t have a ton of products in their range, the branding and concept is super cool. Currently, Aether Beauty contains a highlighter, a cheek palette, a liquid lip, and four eyeshadow palettes. Although I really want to try the Rose Quartz Crystal Gemstone Eyeshadow Palette, I was more excited to try the Crystal Charged Cheek Palette.

The Aether Beauty Crystal Charged Cheek Palette is $44 and available at both Sephora and Aether Beauty. This palette contains two blush shades and a highlighter. It also comes in two shade ranges – Rose Quartz (lighter pink) and Ruby (darker pink). Plus, all Aether Beauty products are infused with crystals. (Hence the “crystal charged” part.) Not only that, but Aether Beauty products are clean, vegan, cruelty-free, organic, made without child labor, have recyclable packaging, and the company itself is female owned too.

Of course if you’ve been here before, you know I love a great face palette. (If not, you might want to check out my Sephora Collection face trio review, or my Jouer face palette review.) I’m a huge beauty junkie, so any way to streamline my routine or take up less space in my bag is welcome. I love the shades in this palette. In fact, I’m not usually a fan of peachy-neutral blushes, but this one was super pretty on. And I love that the highlighter is more of a soft shimmer highlighter rather than a full on glitter bomb. I think the only thing I would change is to swap the middle blush for a contour shade. Although it’s hard to make palettes with universal blush, highlighter, and contour shades that can match all skin tones.

As for the product formulas, they are very nice. For example, the highlighter is a very pretty soft icy pink that gives an amazing “lit from within” glow. Like I said, I’m not usually a peachy-nude blush kinda girl. So I was concerned I wouldn’t like this palette. However, I layered the pink blush over the top of the more neutral blush, and it was gorgeous! This palette has me rethinking my blush game altogether.

Now let’s talk about this whole “crystal charged” thing. Honestly, I’m not sure if the crystals actually DO anything. However, they do give you the most incredible glow. And really, I think we could all use some good crystal energy right now. Especially any additional ways to channel some extra love, happiness, clarity, and kindness into this world. And if I can do that through my makeup, I’m all in.

Overall Ranking (out of 5) –
Aether Beauty Crystal Charged Cheek Palette – 4.5 – It’s pretty, but it’s a little expensive. I like the way it combines two products in one (blush and highlighter). And I really like that it’s clean, vegan, cruelty-free, organic, and has recyclable packaging. Plus that icy pink highlighter glow is super pretty. And the blushes look great layered. Although I thought I would miss having a mirror in the packaging, all of that other good stuff is a fair trade. I can find another mirror.
XOXO,
Tiffany
