Growing up, knowing your “season” was all the rage. Are you a Winter? Maybe you’re a Summer. Overall, the entire concept is a school of thought called Color Analysis. In fact, there are even companies out there who say they will show you what colors to wear to look and feel your best. Basically, it all comes down to what colors, shades, and tones look best on different hair, skin, and eye colors. However, one luxury cosmetics brand is aiming to cut out the middle man. The new Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eyes collection is all about enhancing your natural features with the perfect complimentary shades.

The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eyes collection contains four eyeshadow quads and four dual ended eyeliner pencils. The four color palettes are Super Blue (brown eyes), Copper Charge (blue eyes), Mesmerizing Maroon (green eyes), and Green Lights (hazel eyes). Each eyeshadow quad is $53 and each eyeliner duo is $30. They are all available at Sephora, Nordstrom, and the Charlotte Tilbury website. If you shop on the Charlotte Tilbury website, you can even get Magic Eye Kits that include the corresponding palette and eyeliner along with a mascara.

One of my favorite things about the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eyes palettes is that they include a mix of neutrals and pops of color. Of course you know how much I love a great blue eyeshadow look, so I’m kind of obsessed with the Super Blue palette. But all four pallets are so beautiful. Although I’m a big fan of the color story, I almost wish there was a better mix of mattes and shimmers. As you can see, almost all of the shadows are shimmer formulas. Unfortunately, that means you’re going to need to bring in other shadows or palettes to complete your look. Usually, I love mini palettes when they can complete an entire look. However, I do think these will need some outside help.

Next let’s talk about the eyeliner duo pencils. Although I am usually a liquid or felt tip liner kind of gal, I’m really intrigued by these pencils. I absolutely love the idea of having two colors in one pencil. Especially a shimmer and a matte. Honestly, it takes a long time to use an entire eyeliner pencil, so getting two shades for the price of one is pretty cool!

Overall, I really love the concept of the new Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eyes collection. I like the idea of mixing neutrals with a splash of color, as well as taking out the guesswork of what shades work for what eye color. What do you think? Would you use curated color palettes to coordinate with your eye color? Let me know in the comments below!
XOXO,
Tiffany
