As I’ve already mentioned in my holiday makeup trends post, I’m a big fan of holiday party glam. Especially when it comes to sequin ensembles. So it’s no surprise that one of my absolute favorite holiday trends is sequin! Although this trend has always been a holiday staple, it’s no longer just limited to sequin dresses. In fact, it’s actually easier to wear sequin than ever before.

Just a hint of sequin

First, let’s start with just a hint of sequin. For those of you that don’t feel super comfortable in bold trends, or just want to take sequin for a test drive, one of my favorite ways to wear sequin is a cute sequin tank, a blazer, and jeans. In addition, it’s an easy way to spice up your wardrobe and be a little festive without completely feeling like a disco ball. Not only that, but you could always stick with a sequin clutch or other accessory. Although I’ve seen a lot of sequin headbands around, I’m not recommending them because there’s a very large chance the sequin might get stuck in your hair.

Sequin Skirts

Next we have one of my personal favorites – a sequin skirt! In fact, I’m a huge fan of a sequin mini with a t-shirt, turtleneck, or long sleeve t-shirt (depending on the weather). However, I’m also in love with this glam sequin midi skirt that can be dressed up or dressed down, depending on the rest of your look. Although, if you’re not big on skirts, there are some amazing sequin rompers and sequin pants too.

Full sequin moment

Of course, my go to is always a full sequin moment. Furthermore, it’s no surprise I’m a big fan of a completely sequin dress. Obviously, I’d wear a sequin dress every day if possible. Although I do really love them for winter and the holidays because there are more long sleeve options. And long sleeves means the sequin fabric isn’t as scratchy. The leopard dress above is from Top Shop like 5 years ago, but I found some other great options!

Although this isn’t a fashion, trend, or beauty tip, I want to take a minute to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Mila and I wish you and your family a safe and sparkly holiday season!

XOXO,
Tiffany
