As you can imagine, I wear and try A LOT of makeup products. Although I am super intentional with the products I use for each blog post, I’m not always as intentional with my every day makeup. Honestly, when left to my own devices, I tend to do the same makeup look every day. Because I use and try so many different products, you know those every day basics are all stars. With that in mind, I wanted to share some of my current favorite go to products.

Makeup

First, let’s start with the fun stuff – Makeup! Notably, the Natasha Denona Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette is the eyeshadow palette I’ve been reaching for most lately. With only 5 shades, and all of them being nudes, you’d think I’d be grabbing something else. However, the color payoff of and quality of these shadows are insane. Plus it gives me so much room to play with eyeliner and lipstick. Speaking of eyeliner, the Kaja Wink Stamp Eyeliner Wing Stamp is possibly the coolest thing I’ve tried lately. (You can read my full review here.) It makes a winged eyeliner look so quick and easy. Very impressive.

Makeup Tools

Alongside great products you have to have great tools. Subsequently, one of my must have go to products is great brushes. Right now I’m loving the Morphe eyeshadow brushes. You can get them online at Morphe.com or at Ulta. Brush M441 is my absolute favorite for my crease right now. It’s so light and fluffy. Even better, the brushes range from $3 to $9. Which is so awesome. Plus, if you’re unsure of what to buy, there are sets and kits available as well. My most recent addition to my go to products are the new magnetic lashes from Ardell. They are $15 and include 1 pair of lashes, an eyeliner brush, and a magnetic gel eyeliner. They are so easy to use that was able to apply them in the car in the Ulta parking lot after I bought them. Skincare

Next up, skincare! It’s no secret I’m obsessed with skincare. Honestly, I never thought I’d be the girl on her soap box yelling at everyone to wear sunscreen and night cream and that squinting will give them wrinkles. Yet here I am. Welcome to my soap box. I do have to admit that my skincare favorites haven’t changed much lately. I think skincare is super personal and that once you find something you like, most people stick with it until it doesn’t work anymore or something else happens. Right now, Drunk Elephant, Supergoop!, and Summer Fridays are king in my book.

Body Products

As a fun new addition, I’ve included some body stuff in my go to products! Honestly, body skincare is probably the weakest part of my skincare routine. Although I use like 3 different face moisturizers AM and PM, I can hardly be bothered to put lotion on after I get out of the shower. Well, we all have room for improvement I guess, am I right? But I’m working on it. First of all, I really love Frank Body body scrubs. I’ve tried the glitter one and now I have the birthday one. They are a bit coffee scented, but I like the smell of coffee, so I don’t mind. However, the results are really awesome. My skin feels so soft and the scrub feels productive and effective. Also, I have issues with keratosis pilaris on my legs and the backs of my arms (tiny little rough bumps) and I finally found a solution! Eucerin Roughness Relief Spot Treatment works wonders.
