As you can imagine, florals are usually popular for spring. However, right now they’re having a full on moment. I guess we’ve had so many April showers that the May flowers are out in full force! Without a doubt, I love a great floral patterned dress or skirt, but right now I’m obsessed with all things floral. Especially floral beauty products.

Of course flowers not only influence the scent or color of beauty products, but the names and ingredients as well! In fact, as more and more companies incorporate natural ingredients, I’m sure we’ll start to see more herbs and flowers in our cosmetic ingredient lists.

Obviously, the most noticeable way to incorporate floral beauty products is through perfume. Stella Peony is my absolute favorite. It also comes in a rollerball if you’re not ready for a full size bottle. However, I have friends who swear by Flowerbomb, which also impressively comes in a super cute travel set AND a hair mist! WHAT? Naturally, I love this concept and now think every perfume should have a hair mist. On the other hand, Nest is known for their floral fragrances and has an awesome lineup as well.

Now if you’re not big on perfumes or floral fragrances, don’t worry your pretty little mind. As you can imagine, we have plenty more floral beauty products to discuss!

Next up, skincare. Of course not everyone can handle a lot of perfumes or smells in their skincare, but since everyone is different, I’m going to share some of my favorites. First up, my go-to makeup wipe – Sephora Rose makeup wipes. I absolutely love these little guys for everything from touch ups, to a full face refresher on a non makeup day, to night time makeup removal. I’m also a big fan of the Herbivore Orchid Youth Preserving face oil (as I mentioned in my face oil post.) Plus, you can always pamper yourself and soak in your skincare with an amazing rose quartz roller. Also, Bath & Body Works always has some fantastic floral scents as well. Love – Rose Vanilla is my current favorite.

Finally, we have my favorite category – makeup! Unsurprisingly, I did a little bit too much research into this category and this list can get out of hand really fast. So I’ll do my best to stick to the basics. Here are some of my favorite floral inspired cosmetics:

Eyes –
Tulip Twinkle – Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow (bright pink)
Magnolia Garden – Sephora Collection Eye Shadow (light lavender pink)
Cloud – Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow (light lavender)

Lips –
Color Me – Nars Lip Gloss (lavender)
Tulip – Fresh Sugar SPF 15 (bright pink) – or Orchid, Rose, and several other floral inspired shades!
Lavender – Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask (light lavender pink)
Divine Rose – Pat McGrath Lust: Gloss (full review here)

As we usher in spring surrounded by the beauty of fresh blooms and green grass, take a moment to appreciate the amazing world in which we live. See the progress of the flowers from buds to blossoms to blooms and remember that’s how people work too. We evolve and grow and bloom as we develop into the intricate, unique, and beautiful humans we are each meant to be. Always remember that you are a beautiful bloom in progress, and we can be just as floral inspired as our beauty products.

XOXO,
Tiffany
