My mom is one of the best gift givers I know. She even gives gifts on the little known holidays like flowers for May Day. For this reason, there’s no surprise I love giving gifts too. As long as I can remember, my mom has given us Valentine’s Day presents. Of course, a lot of people believe Valentine’s Day is just a commercial holiday. But I think it’s another excuse to show people how much you love them. Hence why I still bring little kid Valentine’s Day cards to the office every year. I just can’t help myself. However, for those of you who aren’t super gift givers, or need a bit of inspiration, I’ve compiled some of my favorite ideas for Valentine’s Day gifts for her.
Since a gift guide including Valentine’s Day gifts for her AND for him would probably bore you to tears (or overwhelm you and send you running for a box of chocolate), we’re going to focus on her today. Because as the book says, “She Comes First”.
The New Mom –Nashelle Rose Gold Initial Heart Pendant Necklace – $60
In general, everyone deserves a Valentine’s Day gift. However, I think new moms really deserve them. Especially anything in relation to their littlest love. (Of course, by littlest, I strictly mean physical stature, not volume of love.) I think initial pendants are the cutest. Plus, everything is better in rose gold.
The New Baby – Coveted Things Love You Forever Swaddle Scarf – $34
Of course our newest little loves shouldn’t be left out! This swaddle scarf by coveted things is so darling. What new mom or grandma wouldn’t want to wrap up her little Valentine in such a beautiful little blanket?
The Romantic – Knock Knock “What I Love About You” Book – $16
As a romantic myself, I love these little fill in the blank books. Before I gave one of these as a gift, I thought they were pretty dumb. However, after filling in all of the answers, I really felt like it was one of the best gifts I had ever given, and would totally be one of the best Valentine’s Day gifts for her. So personal and meaningful. Plus, almost everyone wants to know all of the good things other people think about them. Wouldn’t you?
The Bestie – Sugarfina XOXO Bento Box $34
What better way to show your bestie you love her than a cute little XOXO box of candy? Enough said.
The Minimalist – Estella Bartlett Shine Bright Love Script Necklace – $32
Lately, I’ve started getting in on the minimalist trend. Now, I know I will never truly be a minimalist. I love shopping too much. However, I do love the idea. This little love necklace is one of the most perfect Valentine’s Day gifts for her because it is so simple and elegant, and yet really gets your point across.
