I have a not so secret love for Victoria’s Secret. Every year I watch the Fashion Show and imagine what it must be like to be strutting down that catwalk to some awesome music wearing the most incredible wings I’ve ever seen. If only I were 10 inches taller. Sigh. No pair of shoes in the world can help me achieve that particular dream! Instead, I just have to shop like an Angel! In honor of tonight’s Fashion Show in Shanghai, I wanted to share a few of my Victoria’s Secret favorites and must-haves.
First up, my bra de rigueur and my all time most important must have – the Dream Angels Demi. This bra is so amazing. It has fully adjustable straps, so if you’re petite like me, you can completely adjust the fit. It also comes in tons of great colors and both with and without all-over lace. And since it is one of Victoria’s Secret’s staple pieces, there are always new colors and laces for Holiday and other seasonal collections. For those of you looking for a little extra lift, there is also a padded version!
Next up are my favorite pajamas. I love Victoria’s Secret’s satin pajamas. Especially their cami and shorts sets. They keep me cool in the summer, and in the winter I can snuggle up in my favorite robe. These satin shorts are so cute and comfy. Plus, the flirty ruffle detail on the bottom is just adorable.
Victoria Sport is one of my newest Victoria’s Secret favorites. Sometimes the styles or colors are a bit “out there”, but the quality is really great. The Medium and Maximum support sports bras are really comfortable and fit well. As the name suggests, they are super supportive and really help me get through a long day of running around at photo shoots. The Incredible is my current favorite (pictured above). It has a nice v-neckline and moulded cups, which are both super flattering.
Last up, we have Victoria’s Secret Beauty. I am a really big fan of their lip gloss. I even know some professional makeup artists that use Victoria’s Secret lipgloss on models for big commercial shoots. Some of the glosses have a slight, subtle shimmer, and they all have a yummy vanilla-esque scent. The new Holiday Glitter Gloss is amazing and has an awesome pixie-like sparkle that will be my go-to for upcoming Christmas parties.
Time to put on my fashion show robe, pop some champagne, and get ready for the show! Now where are my wings…
