Alright guys… It’s almost game time. The biggest day of the year. The Super Bowl of shopping. Black Friday! In fact, it’s one of my favorite days of the year. But, I do have to be honest with you. I have never done the Thanksgiving night Black Friday stand in line thing. I do all of my Black Friday shopping online. There is nothing better than staying in my warm house all day getting all of my holiday shopping done while wearing pjs. With that in mind, I’ve compiled a list of my annual go-to sales, as well as some new ones I’ve been hearing about, to help you make the best of your Black Friday shopping experience. Without further ado… Here are my picks for the best Black Friday Sales!
#1 – Victoria’s Secret
First of all, I have to say that this is my all time favorite Black Friday sale. It is a must for me every year. Mostly because of the free bag. Of course I know VS does free bags with purchase all the time, but the Black Friday bag always has something special inside. In the past it has been bath and body minis, cosmetics, and makeup/travel bags. This year, it is a multi colored sequin striped black tote with a mini bag inside. The mini bag is super cute and looks like red and gold glitter/confetti print. Plus here are usually great deals too. According to their previews, this year will be one of the best Black Friday sales ever. In addition, with any $40 purchase, you will get a card for $20 of a $40 purchase to be used between November 30-December 15.
#2 – Target
Target is my other must-hit Black Friday sale. For example, I get presents for all of the kids in my life during this sale. Their clothes are so cute and the Black Friday deals are awesome (like $5 baby pjs, $10 toddler and kids pjs, and $3 toddler tees and leggings). Plus, it helps me pick toys since I’m not exactly keyed into what’s hot in kids toys right now. If you are one of the brave souls that are willing to stand in line and shop in store, they have 50% off select board games, a $29.99 drone, and a $29.99 Barbie Big Box that includes a Barbie convertible, a closet of clothes and accessories, and a Ken doll. (Wait, what? Can I get a life size one? Please Santa?)
#3 – Bath & Body Works
Next on my list is Bath & Body Works (BBW). I am completely obsessed with their foaming hand soaps, and I love having my scentportable in my car. There is an adorable new black tie scentportable holder, as well as a marble and rose gold (you know that’s my jam), and a furry owl. With that in mind, I may need a new one… This year, BBW is offering a tote with 7 of its newest products inside for $25 ($117 value!). The products are in the new scent Recharge which is a blend of mint and sage. These essential oils are meant to stimulate the mind and boost mental activity. I’ll have to get a bottle of lotion for my desk at work for sure.
#4 – Gap
Everything is 50% off with code BLKFRIDAY. Need I say more? Ok, I will say one thing. I’m obsessed with their GAPFIT workout clothes. They have awesome leggings and workout tops. Very fashion forward and comfortable, and at 50% off, they can’t be beat.
#5 – Dick’s Sporting Goods
Ok, so I don’t spend a lot of time in this particular store, but I do have a brother to shop for and this is definitely his style. So, I always keep an eye out for good deals. Some of the highlights are 25% off Northface and 25% off Yeti water bottles. Plus, lots of other deals that look really good but that I don’t understand, and my brother will probably be super excited for.
#6 – Nordstrom
Not only does Nordstrom have some great Black Friday sales, but they currently have some awesome sales outside of Black Friday too. First of all, Designer clearance is up to 40% off, and for Black Friday, select sale items will be an extra 20% off! Select Nikes are price matched too. Sales on sales on sales! I love Black Friday.
#7 – Dr. Brandt
Get 45% off of my favorite anti-aging products with the code HOLIDAY45. This is an amazing deal. Not only that, but the 45% off is site wide, starts now, and goes through Cyber Monday! #8 – Beauty Brands
Need some updated beauty products for your upcoming Holiday parties? Beauty Brands has 20% off your entire full price order with code EC14651. #9 – Local Favorites
Last but not least, Black Friday doesn’t just have to be about the big box stores. In fact, make sure you check out your local favorites for some special deals too. For example, last year, my yoga studio offered a discount on gift cards. I bought one for myself to encourage myself to go more often. My favorite juice bar/healthy stop during errand days has a special on gift cards this year, too. Not only is saving money great, but it’s even better when it is on things you were going to buy anyway. Plus, it’s even more fantastic when supporting local businesses.
I know everyone has their own thoughts about what makes for the best Black Friday sales, but honestly, any day full of sales and online shopping in my pjs, is fine by me!
