My Favorite Mascara Review – Spend vs. Save!

If I could only wear one makeup product for the rest of my life, it would be mascara. I never leave the house without mascara. I know that sounds a bit extra, but it’s true.

Because mascara is my lifeline, I am really picky about formulas and brushes. Today, I’m sharing two of my favorites with you. Even better?ย One can be found at department stores and the other at drug stores!

Bobby Brown Smokey Eye Cover Girl Lashblast Mascara Favorites

My current department store favorite is Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara. This mascara has a very nice dense brush that evenly coats my lashes without making them clumpy or spidery. No matter the season, clumpy lashes are never on trend. It even gets those little baby lashes in the inner corner of my eye without looking overdone or obnoxious. I find it to be quick and easy to use, and makes my lashes look lush and fantastic.

My favorite drug store mascara is Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara. At my last photo shoot, one of our makeup artists gave me a tube of this mascara to try. I loved it! I thought both the formula and the brush were fantastic. It made my lashes look natural and feathery. I was very impressed with this mascara, especially for the price. Gotta love great beauty on a budget!
